The Loony Bin brought comedy back to the heart of Kansas in January of 2000. Since then, our stage has seen comedy greats such as: Brett Butler, Tommy Chong, Michael Winslow, Pablo Francisco, Sommore, Bobcat Goldthwaite, Tim Cavanaugh, Todd Yohn, Bob Nelson, Dave Coulier, Dave Attell, Pauli Shore, Tim Wilson, Ricky Smiley,  Jon Reep and Steve McGrew.

Prior to and after the show you can visit our neighbors at the 3000 square foot Backstage sports bar and grill.   Backstage not only serves great food, but provides additional entertainment value with kareoke, pool, darts, and foosball. You can also catch sports on their giant screen t.v.!

This club has been seen on the WB's program "Heavy Pork". We book all our performers ourselves by working with comic talent agencies in New York and Los Angeles, as well as reviewing hundreds of audition tapes each year to identify and bring Wichita the funniest people on the planet.
